With 25+ years of experience as an educator, researcher, and educational administrator in higher education my expertise lies in mathematical modeling and cosmological research, complemented by active mentoring of start-ups and result driven administrative experiences. I have successfully managed projects to foster an entrepreneurial ecosystem, promoting research and providing valuable job opportunities in the Punjab region. Additionally, my previous role as Registrar at NIT Puducherry (Institute of National importance) provided me rich experience of policy formulation and implementation. Furthermore, my recent shortlisting for UGC Secretary exemplifies my candidature to contribute towards the education sector of this country.

Registrar at NIT Puducherry:● Spearheaded the institution's inaugural Foundation Day, inviting the Chief Minister of the state, and orchestrated the second convocation, with the presence of the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.● Ensured seamless administrative operations and policies implementation, contributing significantly to the institute's smooth functioning during its formative years.
2. Head, Department of Training & Placement (T&P) at SLIET:● Achieved remarkable success by elevating student placement from 40% to an outstanding 82%, and presently, achieving nearly 100% placements.● Pioneered Day-1 placements by corporations like Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, fostering strong industry-academia partnerships.● Empowered students with prospects, ensuring their seamless transition companies, making a lasting impact professional journeys.
3. Chief Public Information Officer (CPIO) at SLIET:● Acted as the primary contact for disseminating information to the public, following the guidelines of the RTI Act and Chief Information Commissioner of India.● Implemented effective PR activities and transparency measures, leading to a significant reduction in RTI cases and enhancing the institution's credibility and public trust.
4. Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at SLIET:● Led the establishment of vigilant oversight to uphold the institution's integrity and ethics.● Successfully implemented robust vigilance mechanisms, fostering a corruption-free and ethical work environment, ensuring adherence to CVC directives.

Deputy Registrar (Academic) at SLIET:● Played a key role in securing SLIM autonomy as a Deemed University and disaffiliating from Punjab Technical University Jalandhar.● Spearheaded the establishment of new Ph.D., PG, and UG rules, ensuring academic excellence and compliance with regulatory standards.● Streamlined academic processes, significantly enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of academic activities.

9. Chairman, SLIET Publicity & Media Committee:● Oversaw publicity and media-related activities for the institution.● Successfully promoted the institution's image through strategic media outreach and enhanced its visibility among the target audience.
